When Am I Supposed To Get Nervous

Developing the Next Generation of Rainmakers When am I supposed to get nervous? That was the question 17 year old Charley Hull asked her Solheim Cup captain  Liselotte Neumann during the Solheim Cup tournament last month in Colorado. You can read about it here:  Caroline Hedwall became the first player in Solheim Cup history to win five matches I think this quote from Charley Hull is instructive for any lawyer giving a presentation, writing an article or blog post, attending a networking event, or meeting with a potential client. “I didn’t really feel that nervous, to be honest,” Hull said. “Because this is how I always look at golf â€" I’m not going to die if I miss it. Just hit it, and find it, and hit it again.” Watch this short review of her match against Paula Creamer: So, keep in mind that if you totally fail at any client development activity, you’re not going to die. “Just hit it, and find it, and hit it again.” I practiced law for 37 years developing a national construction law practice representing some of the top highway and transportation construction contractors in the US.
